Leon was born in Frankfurt/Germany on the 27th of August 1992. His first contact with martial arts came at the tender age of eight where he started to train Kickboxing, inspired by his dad Ralph.

His love for boxing two years later and his first fight happened after another two years. This day will always be remembered as the day that started to kick off his desire to fully commit to the sport of boxing to reach the very top.

Leon has won several State and German championships at youth level fighting at middleweight, but his focus had to turn to his school grades as he prepared for his a-levels. He successfully passed his exams mid-early 2013 and returned to a full training and competition schedule. The regular training paid off as he beat world class boxers in the first Bundesliga whereas his only defeat in 2014 would eventually be in the finals of the elite German championships due to a cut that was illegaly caused by a headbutt in the semifinals. 2015 should be a different story though with Leon winnning the world famous "Chemie Pokal" and following that success up with finally being crown German champion while not losing a single round in 4 fights and therefore 12 rounds!

He was nonetheless nominated for the German nation team and is fully focused in his boxing career. Leon loves life at MMA Spirit and also trains striking with the mma fight team to improve his already evident toughness.

The young talent loves to spend time with his friends and would rather describe himself as a chilled guy than a party boy.
